XY1b (DN-F16B) is a Dyenamo-developed variant of XY1 (DN-F16) designed to 

deliver the performance of XY1 at lower cost. By keeping the core XY1 structure 

intact, the photo- and electrochemical properties of the two dyes are practically 

identical.
